MA Project: Space
Previously Adam Wang has focussed purely on womenswear but while studying for his MA Fashion Design he has started to explore and develop a more gender neutral approach.
The MA project research explore Adam’s keen interest in architecture. With architecture and garments both being man-made, he identifies common points between them where architecture provides spaces for people to live in, and where garments provide protective cover for our bodies.
Creative pattern cutting, print and inter-woven fabric manipulation are explored and inspired from the architecture and geometrical drawing developments.
Adam is now seeking employment within global fashion industry. To develop existing skills and adopt new ways of working and to enhance his profile and growth as a designer.
